(Where it sits)

Saryn Prime has no extreme in its base stats — every one of them sits in the middle of the roster, so what it does comes from its abilities rather than its numbers.

It ships with 3 polarities already installed, plus Vazarin on the aura slot, so that much of the board costs no forma.

(Abilities)

  1. 01

    Spores 25 energy

Inflict a target with a pox of Corrosive spores. Spread spores to nearby enemies by destroying them or killing their host. The longer the Spore spreads, its damage will increase.

Augments: Revealing Spores , Venom Dose

  2. 02

    Molt 50 energy Subsumable

Shedding her skin like a snake, Saryn leaves a decoy behind to draw fire from enemies.

    Augment: Regenerative Molt

  3. 03

    Toxic Lash 50 energy

While active, attacks deal additional Toxin Damage; this effect is doubled for Melee Strikes. Instantly burst spores when attacking afflicted enemies.

    Augment: Contagion Cloud

  4. 04

    Miasma 75 energy

Release a poisonous miasma that deals Viral Damage to enemies in range. Foes afflicted by spores are more susceptible to the mist.

Costs are base figures, before efficiency.

(Acquisition)

Saryn Prime comes out of Void relics — 28 of them across its 4 parts. It is in the Vault: those relics no longer drop, so the only routes left are a player who already holds them and the occasional unvaulting.

Build time assumes the 3 components build at the same time in separate foundry slots — 12 hours for the slowest, then 3 days for the frame itself. One slot at a time comes to 4 days 12 hours.

The arcanes above are not in these figures — every one of them is conditional or derived from another stat, and the engine refuses to average a trigger.

1 of the 5 shards are not in these figures either: they are conditional on kills, or name a stat this engine does not carry.

Spores scale off how many enemies carry them, not off how hard each tick lands, so range and duration buy more than raw strength does. Stretch and Primed Continuity are doing the heavy lifting here.

Umbral Vitality plus Adaptation is what makes this survivable at Steel Path levels; Saryn has no armour to speak of and the stat panel above says so.

Corrosive Projection is a squad decision rather than a Saryn one — swap it for Energy Siphon when soloing, and skip the aura forma if you do, since Energy Siphon is Naramon like the slot you would be building towards anyway.
